15-Minute Healthy Spicy Chicken Wraps
Wraps are one of my favorite things to make for a quick lunch, breakfast and honestly oftentimes even dinner. As long as it’s filled with the right ingredients a wrap is a great meal idea that tastes delicious and is healthy too.
I made these last month – I had some leftover chicken from the previous night’s dinner, some spinach from my backyard (that’s right, I’m growing spinach now), and some avocado that was just right to eat (you truly need to seize the moment there!) I gathered some more ingredients from the fridge and pantry, took the camera and here we are.
Spicy Chicken Wraps Ingredients
These wraps are filled with fresh vegetables, shredded chicken, spices and cheese. I used flour tortillas, but you can use any type of tortillas that you usually use for your wraps.
Here’s the (kinda long) list of ingredients:
- cream cheese
- tomato paste
- chili flakes
- cumin
- chicken, shredded
- garlic
- mozzarella
- grilled zucchini
- tortillas
- avocado
- olives, pitted and chopped
- pickled jalapenos
- spinach
- basil, parsley, dill or cilantro
If you don’t have some of the ingredients or don’t want to use them (like for example if you don’t eat dairy – cream cheese and mozzarella), please feel free to find alternatives and to experiment. Also, please if you do make them, let me know how it went for you and share your experience so that others can learn from it too! Now, let’s get to the recipe and step by step pictures.
