To be honest, I don’t know whether I should name this one melon soft serve ice cream or slushy. But it tastes sweet and it’s cold – which is the definition of ice cream in my dictionary. So we go with this one for the melon recipe. You’ll only need three ingredients and a blender to make it and it’s suuuuper refreshing. Tastes like a real summer treat, but it’s pretty healthy!

You will need frozen melon for the recipe, so if you don’t have, make sure to freeze some and continue as described in the recipe. You’ll also find some step-by-step photos with instructions below.

Healthy Melon Soft Serve Ice Cream
This healthy summer recipe is the perfect way to use some melons, if you've got too many right now! It's something between melon soft serve ice cream and a slushy, but healthier and made right in the blender!
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen melon
- 1/2 cup milk*
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender** and let sit for about 5 minutes (this will make the blending experience somewhat easier).
- Blend the ingredients in intervals until there are no chunks of fruit left. I had to scoop and blend 2-3 times until everything got blended.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
*I feel like coconut milk will be a good dairy-free alternative for this recipe
**I used a NutriBullet for this task, but any smaller-sized high-speed blender should work with the quantities.
